The aim is to ensure that the records classification:

• Really servers its purpose
• Was computerized
• Was in the accordance with law.

Private data protection is obligatory for companies; it results from law n. 525/2004 Coll., about private data protection. If some of the items in the law and other relevant regulations are offended, they can be penalized.

Information system for management of company finances ensures that there are in every moment available information in the company necessary for:

• Management of profitability of individual products, customers, business cases etc.
• Increase in company efficiency
• Investment strategy, investment planning, investment decision-making

• Other decision-making that has some influence on company finances.

One of the important features of statement of finances is reliability. Unfortunately, the statement of finances according IFRS (that came into being by reverting of the Czech statement of finances) does not have this feature.

While buying any manufacturing equipment the owners and top management know exactly what kind of products they want to produce. They have defined parameters of the equipment and thanks to this they are able to select such equipment that fulfills exactly their ideas and requirements.

While buying HW and SW it seems that this process does not apply. If this company decides to buy HW or SW, they do not create an exact definition what they will “produce” with the help of this SW and HW, how they will use it. They have presentations of various IT products and decide intuitively if they are convenient for them or not. A result of such a process is overlarge IT in company that does not satisfy the needs and ideas and it is more expensive than it should be.
